Hi all! Sorry for the posting-silence cycles, but I'm really going to try to post more often, planning for Wednesdays. I wanted to wait for Dogust for reasons and such, so... Well, I hope you all like! It's probably going to be a lot of Fate/Grand Order content, but I hope that you all like too.

Shout outs to: Esotericer who's helped keep me into TF and has been wonderful to bounce Fate TF ideas off of, RoscoTf who's been pushing me to make more content, and all of you out there who are reading, who are why I'm still posting and not just hoarding writing I create like some kind of more-fetishy Smaug.

Hope you're all happy, and remember to be kind to others!

So hi! It's been a hot minute. As you can guess, I've been super busy IRL, and... Well, honestly I don't have too much time to write anymore. As you can also guess, I really like FGO and Genshin.

The writing thing's kind of a lie, actually. Sorry, typing this stream-of-consciousness to be honest, because anyone who reads this deserves honesty. Truth is, most nights I'm way too tired to write, like that part of my brain is totally burnt out. But lately, I've been getting into working out and eating less, and that's honestly helped kinda get back in the zone.

As you've noticed though, the part of my brain that can draw is still active. So I thought... Hey, why not? I mean, I like writing a lot, and I know I cover a lot of genres. So why not do... That, too?

And well... A year plus went by, and here we are, haha. Me spamming your feeds with mid-to-good (I hope!) quality stuff. Feel free to comment here if you want me to submit art more often/not at all/whatever.

But also, I feel like I need to thank all of everyone who's kept my spirits up during the busiest I've been. First off, everyone on Patreon who's humored me despite it being mostly just a blank space. I don't comment on there (out of shame) but I literally check it every week and seeing the few people who still like my writing enough to support me passively mean the world to me.

Second off, some specific call-outs!

Elykzyr for actually getting me off my ass to write and submit things again

klatuk4u for taking my crazy story commissions (Check their gallery out!) and being one of my best friends who I can always count on

Esotericer for also convincing me to post art, and for drawing all my crazy commission ideas and for coming up with more

Unidentified-TF for being an art inspiration and someone who encouraged me to draw

b-ridge for being a great friend, editor, sounding board, and inspiration

Wrenzephyr2 for accepting all the commission ideas and for helping me get into Genshin

Toy-Soldier-Kelsey for being an inspiration and one of my longest friends

clancy688 for being my first TF friend

Everyone else who's private/I haven't talked to in a while. All of you are great, and I'm happy to know you.

YOU, for sitting through this!

Other than that... Yeah. My goal now is to be known as that weirdo who draws almost exclusively Fate TF. (And who writes on occasion)

I'm in this weird state of wanting to write more TF and at the same time being crippled by a job, the state of the globe, and the fact that DeviantArt's new literature submission system is about as friendly as jabbing toothpicks under my toenails then kicking a wall.

Moaning aside, I do have a BUNCH of unsubmitted stories that I'd like to share with you all, so I hope you enjoy! I'll be uploading these on and off between Overwatch Queues, there's going to be a ton.

HUGE thanks to all the people who've still followed me, to all of those who want to see more writing from me, and to everyone in the community in general. I hope you're all doing great, staying safe, and that some halloween magic finds its way to you tonight!

Now, on with the show!

WHAT'S UP, TRANSFORMATION FANS AND PEOPLE WHO CLICKED HERE BY ACCIDENT? I'm SketchySeraph, and apparently I'm typing a Youtube script because that's how this journal is starting out. But I'm already looking like an idiot as is for not having submitted anything in a while while still being charged for a Core account, so let's roll with it!

Yeah! I've been gone for a while! There's been some life restructuring, mostly me getting back into the plastic heroin that is Games Workshop modeling and also Fate/Stay Night and Extella-but not Grand Order, thankfully. I still need some money.

But none of that really concerns you all at the moment, because... April Fool's! Why April Fool's? Because on this magical day, we're supposed to do something out of the ordinary, right? So... I'm thinking I go a bit crazy and start submitting one or two or thirty (who's counting) stories today. That's out of the ordinary, right?

So, one an hour every hour, let's drop an F for Respect to your inboxes, and I'll get started with a pig TF! Hope you all have a great day!

Oh, also? If you happen to like Blueberry TF?  payhip.com/b/KrIy Bloomph! It's a great anthology and you can support some awesome expansion/blueberry/transformation artists and authors by picking up a copy. Myself included!

Hey everyone! Long time no see, right? I'm working on getting some submissions up and running, but don't worry! I'm not dead, I've just been... Well, really crazy busy irl. Lotta drama, mild case of sickness (I got better!), too much time making Warhammer 40,000 minis... And so on, and so on.

Coming in line with this return to form is going to be opening up for commissions. Turns out, I've been criminally undervaluing my writing. I've heard enough people say I should charge more (and yes, also plenty of people say I should charge less...), and I think I've come out with something fair and reasonable.

So, without further ado, here's the new pricing:

SketchySeraph Transformation Stories

$10 for a 500-word story

$25 for a 1,000-word story

$60 for a 2,000-word story

$90 for a 3,000-word story

And anything beyond that, note me so we can work out some details. Also, just note me in general, to start talking commissions. I don't read comments nearly as often as I should, but I'm pretty good at keeping up with my inbox.

Keep in mind that these are just general prices—I might charge more for certain things based on how easily they come to me, since I’ll need to get into a different mindset to make your vision a reality. That said, in the years that I’ve been writing I’ve come to known and appreciate a variety of different fetishes, so I’m hoping I won’t often need to call things complex.

FAQ:

Q: Why so much? Isn’t this a crazy spike from when you started?

A: Apparently I was really underselling myself when I first started, and I’d like to think my quality’s only improved from there. Industry rates for short stories tend to go at $0.05 per word minimum, and that’s for stories that aren’t catered specifically to your tastes.

Q: Why does the price go up as word count increases? Don’t prices usually drop with bulk?

A: See that earlier comment about pricing. I’m still charging well below industry rates, and, honestly, I enjoy writing short flash fiction a lot! I’m rather good at it, if you don’t mind me sounding conceited. I’d like to be able to offer something I have a passion for at a lower price, because it’s something I genuinely enjoy.

Q: What would a flash fiction collection of like 4 individual 500 word tfs cost? Would that be $60 or $40?

A: That would be $40! I’d treat each as a separate story, because there’s no overarching narrative. If you want them all to be connected, I’m happy to do that too, but I might need to charge a little extra to tie them all in together.

Q: So, if I were to commission a 10,000 word story as a series of 2,000 word chapters…?

A: I mentioned that little discussion about seeing me for details for this very reason! As with the flash fiction comments earlier, I think that the time and effort to make something approaching continuity needs to be taken into account. I’d probably charge a bit more for that than the flat 2,000 word pricing.

Q: But like… I can back you on Patreon at $3 and have a chance to get a 1,000 to 1,500 word story as one of your biweekly polls. How does that work?

A: Right! Maybe you should back me on Patreon then! ;D www.patreon.com/SketchySeraph
